Why the organization need a total rewards strategy?

 


It is important to having a strong reward strategy for any organization. If an organization is having a strong reward system means that the employees are working long time periods & the productivity of the employees are naturally grow up.

Helps to attract and retain the top talent 

One of the main reasons for a company to implement a total rewards strategy is to recruit and retain employees. According to Mark Quinn, a consultant at Mercer, ‘when people move organizations without knowing how their life is going to be the pay would be the risk-mitigation point’. 

Once they are recruited the next challenge would be to ensure that they will happily remain in the organization contributing to the results.

Helps to Improve productivity

When employees know that their hard work will be appreciated and they are in a healthy competition with their colleagues, they are more likely to produce quality work. when organization having a top talented employee means it is likely to achieve the organizational goals and outperform its peers. Therefore, a reward system is mutually beneficial to the employee and the organization. Further it will encourage employees to be at work, reducing the absenteeism as well. 

Employee satisfaction and employee engagement 

When Employees are satisfied with their benefits the loyal employees are dedicated to the success of their organization believing that being a part of that organization is in their best interest. When a proper reward system is in place the employees feel valued by the organization. That will ensure a meaningful bond between the employer and the employee, increasing the employee’s loyalty to the organization. 

Increased teamwork

This is another imperative reason why rewards systems are important for a business. All employees should engage to work together. Individual employee cannot get more rewards without teamwork. To achieve objective goals, the employee has to work their part within the team in return for the rewards.
